Copan Ruinas is one of the most interesting Mayan ruins in the entire region of Central America, known for its intricate carvings, hieroglyphic stairways, and serene environment of the jungle. This ruin is located just outside a quiet Honduras town.
You can visit this place on foot, as part of a guided tour, or by yourself. This is a walkable area with a peaceful environment and ancient structures that reveal the rich history of the Maya people.
