Pink Pillbox Hike in Maili or Puu O Hulu is one of Oahu’s best family-friendly hikes. It is found on Oahu’s west coast. This hike takes one to an escarpment that provides spectacular views of the island’s turquoise coast and towns like Waianae.

Along the route, you’ll see several of the older pillboxes from WWII, and of course, the pink-painted bunker that has been featured in so many photographs. The route is short with moderate switchbacks and periods of full sun early in the day.

Thanks to free parking and the ability to see the entire island from the top, this Pink Pillbox is just about the most popular hike that hits the beach along the island of Oahu. This article is your hike guide to the Pink Pillbox.
