Kayu Putih Giant Tree is a large centuries-year-old tree set in the quiet village of Bayan, Bali. The twisted roots, huge trunk, and mystic atmosphere can make it feel like something from a fairy tale. Travelers most often come here for photos, peaceful scenery, and a quick break from the busy tourist areas of Bali.

There is a small temple beside the tree, so visitors are expected to behave respectfully; however, no sarongs are required for walking on the outside of it. You can easily visit the tree on a day trip from Ubud or Canggu, with scooter rentals or private drivers both being very convenient options. Since the spot is still relatively quiet, it's a great stop to pair with nearby attractions like Taman Ayun Temple or Sangeh Monkey Forest.
