The Release of Baby Sea Turtle

One of the best experiences you could ever have in Bali is to take part in the release of baby sea turtles. In fact, the Bali Sea Turtle Society, based in Kuta, is working tirelessly to save the eggs and baby turtles, while also allowing visitors to take part in the release of baby turtles into the ocean. The event is free and suited for families.

This event takes place during turtle nesting seasons and even attracts many people; it is, therefore, imperative to visit early. The activity takes place in the late afternoon, and people line up so that they can get a hatchling to guide it to the sea. The town of Sanur also conducts turtle conservation activities for people holidaying on the East Coast.

Though it is a very simple task, the act is an important part of the survival of the young turtles in the environment. For tourists, it is an event to remember, as it also helps the wildlife in Bali.
