Quang Phu Cau is easily one of the most photogenic villages around Hanoi. Famed for their bright red and multicolored bundles of incense, the village has been producing incense for more than a hundred years. Visitors can walk down drying yards, observe the making of incense, and shoot amazing photos from both ground levels and raised platforms.

The village is accessible and easily visited on a half-day trip by tour, taxi, or self-drive. Entrance fees are low, and the locals are friendly with no stress from photographers. The best time to visit is any dry day; mornings are cooler, and the incense is freshly laid out.
