A survey conducted by ServiceMarket among more than 1,400 Dubai residents revealed Motor City as the highest-rated neighborhood in 2016. The area scored exceptionally well for property layout, parking, and safety. The Greens and Emirates Living followed closely, praised for green spaces, pet-friendliness, and overall community atmosphere.

The study evaluated 19 lifestyle factors, including home quality, facilities, value for money, transport access, traffic, and neighborhood walkability. While most residents rated safety highly across Dubai, many expressed concerns about the lack of green areas in several communities.

Dubailand ranked as the lowest-rated area due to limited public transport, fewer nearby amenities, and ongoing construction. Other lower-rated areas included International City, Al Nahda, and Satwa. These insights highlight how convenience, safety, and community remain key factors influencing where people prefer to live in Dubai.
